What does it mean to be black?
Having rhythm and keeping a beat. Feeling like an alien from outer space when traveling overseas. Sometimes the stares can be intense and others quite flattering. It could mean special treatment because I’m not like the norm or the average female. Then again getting treated like crap because there’s still different forms of racism present in this day and age.
